In the previous video we exported the model information in an Excel file.
In this new video we will see how to create a new filter from this Excel file.
Let’s take the example of the opening information.
We can rely on the “Type” column to create a new filter.
The new filter’s information should be in the first column of the Excel spreadsheet.
The header is the name of the filter.
The second column is the corresponding global identifier of the object.
We will edit the information of the new filter by using the capabilities of Excel.
Once we have finished editing the Excel file, we save it before load it into Kabandy.
In the viewer we create a new filter by uploading the Excel file from the desktop.
The filter is created and available in the list.
The values are assigned to the objects and colorization can be applied.
For any new version of the model the filter’s value are maintained for the existing objects; the new objects being found in “Undefined”.
This close the video on adding information to the model from an Excel file.
