There are many cases where the model’s information needs to be edited to be more usable.
It is possible to add information to the model in Kabandy.
Let’s take a simple example in which we assign two zones on the structural objects.
First we isolate the objects in the viewer.
Then we go to the filter menu to create a new filter.
In this menu we make the distinction between the information encoded in the native model and the information added via Kabandy.
The new filter can be created via the interface or by uploading an Excel file.
In the first option we create the new filter and called it “Zones”.
The information will be assigned to the visible objects.
To assign a value we click on the edit button.
We do the same for the second zone.
The two zones are assigned to the objects and can be visualized by applying the colors.
If some minor corrections are necessary we isolate the object and we change the value.
The model is now properly classified and ready for being used.
