In this first video, we will see how to upload a new model on Kabandy.
Let’s start by creating a new folder.
In this folder we will add a federated model.
A federated model is made of several files that can be visualized together.
These files can be in Revit or IFC format.
To upload these files, we can simply select them through the browser, drag-and-drop them or add a link to an Autodesk Construction Cloud environement.
Once selected we upload the files. The conversion process is starting: the 3D geometry is generated online, the database is created and the quantities are calculated. This may take some time.
Once ready the preview is available and the conversion status is in success. If we want to add additional files later, we can add new parts of the models or create new versions of one file.
The federated model is opened by selecting the files.
The viewer is now ready.
